Kapa.ai Slack bot service resumed

The kapa.ai slack bot issue has been identified and resolved, and service has been fully restored.

Root cause

• A workspace connected to the Kapa.ai Slack bot activated automation that processed years of message history
• This generated approximately 400 events per minute
• Each event required database authentication
• The volume exceeded our database connection capacity

Resolution

The issue was resolved by working with the customer to disable the automation, allowing services to return to normal operation.

Next steps

While Slack's event architecture presents inherent limitations, we're exploring options to improve resilience against similar scenarios.
